Privacy Policy

We do not collect personal information. If you opt in to alerts, the only data transmitted off your device is an Apple Push Notification token used solely to deliver Express Entry draw notifications; see Section 4.

• The App does not require or support account registration; there is no sign-in, username, or password.
• The App does not incorporate any analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting software development kit.
• The App does not track users across other applications or websites and does not use cookies or device identifiers for tracking purposes.

All profile information entered by you, including age, education, language test scores, work experience, and related fields used to calculate a CRS score, is stored exclusively on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. Such information is not transmitted to us or to any third party. Application preferences, including theme selection, notification settings, and cached IRCC content, are stored in the same manner using UserDefaults or an on-device disk cache.

The App retrieves publicly available information directly from official Government of Canada sources for the purpose of displaying Express Entry cutoff scores and immigration-related news, including Express Entry round results published at canada.ca and immigration news published through IRCC's public news feed. Such requests are one-way and read-only, are directed to public government endpoints, and do not include any information identifying you or your device beyond what is inherently required by standard network protocols. No such information is logged or retained by us.

The App provides two kinds of notifications, both optional and enabled together in Settings.

• Local news notifications are generated and delivered entirely on your device using information already stored locally. No notification content or scheduling information relating to news notifications is transmitted to us or to any third party.
• Remote draw notifications are delivered through Apple's Push Notification service. If you enable alerts, your device's Apple Push Notification token (an identifier issued by Apple solely to deliver push notifications, not linked to your CRS score, profile information, or any other data described in Section 2) is transmitted to our notification infrastructure and registered with a third-party push delivery service (Amazon Web Services) solely to deliver draw notifications to your device. This token is not used for tracking, advertising, or analytics, and is not shared with any party other than Apple and the infrastructure necessary to deliver the notification. Disabling alerts in Settings stops new notifications from being delivered, though your device's token may remain registered with our notification infrastructure until it naturally expires.

The App uses Apple's MetricKit framework, through which iOS may collect crash and performance diagnostic data on your device. If you have enabled the Share With App Developers setting under iOS Settings, Privacy & Security, Analytics & Improvements, Apple may share an anonymized copy of such diagnostic reports with us through App Store Connect. The App does not incorporate any independent crash reporting or analytics service; this function is provided solely through Apple's platform and is disabled by default.

Profile information is protected by the security measures Apple provides for data stored locally on a device. Because such information is not transmitted from the device, there is no server-side risk of unauthorized access arising from our use of such information.

Because we do not collect personal information and the App does not support user accounts, there is no personal data retained by us that is subject to a right of access, correction, deletion, or portability. You may remove all information stored by the App by deleting the App from your device. In the event the App's data practices change in a future version, including through the introduction of an optional cloud synchronization feature, this Privacy Policy will be revised in advance of such change, and applicable rights under the General Data Protection Regulation, the California Consumer Privacy Act, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act will be described at that time.

The App is not directed to children under the age of thirteen. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of thirteen. As stated in Section 1, we do not collect personal information from any user, regardless of age.

We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time, including in response to changes in the App's data practices. Any revision will be reflected by an updated effective date above, and the revised policy will be made available both here and within the App. Continued use of the App following the posting of a revised Privacy Policy constitutes acceptance of such revision.
